We are an all womens rounders club who have only been functioning as a league for a couple of months, but we have been practising for over 1 year now.
We are based at Green Park in Ossett, West Yorkshire. We have a coaching session here on a Tuesday, games are played on a Thursday and Sundays are fun days were players partners can come and join the fun.
We have a good practice policy and child protection policy which all members of each team have had to sign to state they understand. These are only temporary policies until we become part of the National Rounders Association and then we will adhere to their policies.
Each team has a captain and a vice captain, who must hold meetings with their team members to make sure everyone is happy and that there are no problems. Also regular club meetings are held for everyone to discuss any burning questions they might have and to fix dates for matches ect... These are always held at the Cricket Club in Ossett, West Yorkshire.
We are a very freindly bunch of ladies and we love to welcome new players all the time. We are all very suppoertive of each other even though we have to play each team we still support them. Ages range from 16 - 60 and of all different religions and races.
